While we don’t like to focus too much on the numbers here at Borton Volvo, sometimes the data are just too good to ignore. Not only did Volvo Cars USA have a wonderful July, but July 2016’s sales growth of 52.8 percent over July 2015 also extends the number of months Volvo Cars USA has shown consecutive double-digit sales growth to thirteen. While we’re proud to see Volvo doing well, we know that this sort of success would mean nothing—and quite frankly, wouldn’t be possible—without the support of loyal customers like you, so we’d like to extend a big ‘thank you!’ to our Golden Valley, MN drivers.

There were two Volvo models in particular that seemed to really drive Volvo’s July success, the award-winning Volvo XC90, which sold 2,888 units in July, and it’s smaller sibling, the Volvo XC60 crossover, which brought up second place with a very respectable 2,097 units sold. These figures, combined with U.S. sales of other Volvo models, brought the total number of units sold during July to 8,584, a staggering 52.8 percent increase over July of the previous year, and marking the 13th month straight of double-digit sales growth.
Volvo Cars USA year-to-date sales are up 29.3 percent year-over-year, which means that Volvo’s $11 billion transformation plan can continue to deliver game-changing innovation in areas like automobile safety, autonomous driving technology, and connectivity. The plan is also concerned with developing modular vehicle architecture unique to Volvo, as well as introducing a new range of engines, so these great sales figures could be setting us up to see some spectacular things out of Volvo in the near future.
