Sometimes the safe thing isn't the easy thing. Just look at rear-facing child seats.

They're safer.

You know they're safer, we know they're safer, and numerous studies show that they are safer in a collision. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children remain in rear-facing seats until a minimum age of two years old.

Yet many don't.

Why? Because it's difficult. The seats can be uncomfortable, and they break eye contact between parent and child.
